Meet Ms. Winta
Hi! I'm Ms. Winta. My mission is to help students build a strong reading foundation early. I have a Certificate of Mastery in Lexia LETRS Science of Reading, and I am a certified PreK-5th grade Georgia Professional Educator. (References available upon request.)
After graduating from GA State University in 2012 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, I taught at the first STEAM-certified school in the State of Georgia, contributing to its success. I was an Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher, K-5th grade teacher, and an English as a Second Language (ESL) lead kindergarten and 1st grade teacher.
I currently tutor children in Pre-K through 2nd grade in person because it is a race to "lrn" during the foundational years. Contact me for more information and availability!

Race to Lrn's mission is to provide individualized reading, writing, and math tutoring during a child's foundational years, using strategies aligned with the Science of Reading.
Services
1. First, an evaluation of your child's knowledge of basic reading is conducted using research-supported assessments.
2. Next, the data is analyzed to pinpoint your child's strengths and areas for improvement to create a tutoring plan.
3. Then, your child is tutored one-on-one twice a week. You get an update on what was taught and the areas you can work on with your child at home after every session.
