Mission
Numerous studies have shown that students who have not mastered foundational reading skills by the end of 1st grade are highly likely to face chronic reading difficulties.
Our mission is to offer focused, individualized in-person tutoring during a child's foundational years, utilizing strategies aligned with the science of reading.
Services
First, we assess your child's basic reading and writing skills using research-backed tools.
Next, we analyze the data to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Then, we create a personalized tutoring plan and give you an update on what was taught after every lesson.
Meet Ms. Winta
Hi! I'm Ms. Winta G., a certified Georgia Professional Educator with a Certificate of Mastery in LETRS Science of Reading. I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade for 6 years, 2nd grade for 4 years, and 5th grade for 1 year.
I had the privilege of teaching at Georgia's first STEAM-certified school, where I contributed to its success until 2024, when I decided to start privately tutoring students in grades Pre-K through 2nd. I started Race to LRN to provide individualized one-on-one lessons to help students thrive.
