About Race To LRN

Hi! I'm Ms. Winta. I am a certified Georgia Professional Educator, and I have a Certificate of Mastery in LETRS Science of Reading. I started Race to LRN to provide individualized one-on-one lessons to help students thrive. I work with a team of professional and knowledgeable tutors, and we tutor in reading, writing, and math as early as age 3 in-person. 

I graduated from GA State University in 2012 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught at Georgia's first STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) certified school, contributing to its success. I was a K-5th grade teacher, an Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher, and an English as a Second Language (ESL) reading & math co-teacher for grades kindergarten & 1st from 2019-2024.
